Oliver from Marquees & Pavillions (marpav.co.uk) styled this event at Waddesdon Manor with a theme of “Spring time rain or shine” to lead the decorative styling.
Oliver turned our traditional hand held wedding parasols into innovative light shades by suspending them from the ceiling covering mains powered pendant bulbs to create contemporary uplighters. Oliver comments, “The parasols suited the theme perfectly but I wanted to do something different so I thought…why not suspend them as floating parasols? The fresh grass green and lime colours mixed with the bright yellow instantly made me think of daffodils.”
The central line design complements the long dining table, reflecting the shape below, which is also ideal when using the increasingly popular trestle style tables for weddings throughout summer.
