The Argus has begun its annual search for the unsung heroes of Sussex…
The Hanging Company is a proud sponsor of The Argus Achievement Awards 2010, and has sponsored the ‘Achiever of the Year’ award! Every year for the last 9 year The Argus has been rewarding and recognising the heroes of Sussex and gives the worthy winners a chance of glory in the spotlight. Previous nominees and winners have included teachers, nurses, courageous children and even businesses that have contributed to the local area.
Nomination forms can be found in The Argus newspaper every day and online until Friday 3rd September 2010 – who is your ‘Achiever of the Year’? Enter your nomination and support The Hanging Lantern Company:

A full page article dedicated to the ‘Achiever of the Year’ award will be appearing in The Argus on Tuesday 10th August telling you more details about ‘our’ category and also giving you another opportunity to nominate someone.
All finalists and sponsors will be attending the awards ceremony at the Theatre Royal, Brighton on Sunday 3rd October, to enjoy a drinks reception, meal and entertainment. Once again the event will be hosted by ITN newsreader Nicholas Owen and there will certainly be tears, laughter and standing ovations galore!
We are currently working with the Argus to plan the best way to decorate the Theatre Royal with Chinese lanterns. We have selected white paper lanterns and are exploring various decorative options including using our new 4” Chinese paper lanterns (coming to the site soon) on the tables at dinner, or white hanging lanterns as a back drop on the stage!
The Hanging Lantern Company is delighted to be supporting the local community and we are proud to be involved in these special awards – keep posted for more details!
