Real Weddings in Cosmo Bride (Oct/Nov 2011 issue) features white paper lanterns…Flo and Chris added charming touches to the family farm for a pretty, personal day.
“Home Sweet Home”
On the big day guests mingled in the grounds of the bride’s parents Essex farm and partied inside two marquees, one for dining and one for dancing! Long banquet tables were covered with hydrangeas, sweet peas, peonies and roses and the garden sparkled with paper lanterns and fairy lights.
Hanging paper lanterns in white even ribbing have been suspended in an orderly fashion through out the dining marquee and in amongst wedding bunting. Mixtures of different sized hanging lanterns were also hung outside around the farm to continue the paper lantern theme from the inside to the outside.
“Sweet Dreams”
Candy stripes and heartfelt details inspired Caroline and Ian’s colourful London day. The bride and groom chose pink, blue and brown stripes for their wedding day colour scheme after being inspired by a Millie’s Cookies bag!
Cosmopolitan Bride features the bride and groom outside their wedding reception venue, Haberdashers’ Hall, Smithfield, London. The groom is wearing a fuchsia gerbera boutonnière whilst the bride is holding a paper parasol to compliment the fuchsia.
