Royal wedding lantern party design ideas:

  • Hang our nylon Chinese lanterns down your street and invite all of your neighbours to celebrate. Nylon hanging lanterns are fantastic in all weathers so not even a hint of British rain will cancel the celebrations.
  • A selection of 4-inch paper lanterns in red, white and blue, look fantastic hung with fairy lights around a garden.
  • If you are getting married at the same time as Will’s and Kate why not use their big day as a theme for yours and recreate a British red, white and blue setting with 12” and 14” paper lantern decorations in your wedding venue or wedding marquee.

As the big day approaches Clarence House are releasing more and more details, the latest release telling us that Kate’s sister Philippa will be maid of honour, while Prince William has asked Harry to be his best man. We have not yet heard of the colour scheme for bridesmaid’s dresses and pageboys outfits – we can speculate though and The Hanging Lantern Company has a huge range of paper lanterns in colours to match!

Deep purple lanterns and ivory paper lanterns provide us with the typical regal colours fitting for a coronation, robin egg and peach lanterns are increasingly popular with wedding planners for wedding marquees, whilst navy blue lanterns mixed with white paper lanterns give a timeless classic look to any venue.
