Wedding Flowers magazine contains a Real Weddings section bringing you pages and pages packed full of ideas from the most stylish big-day celebrations and then handy hints and tips on how to recreate the theme for your big day.

Pamela and Ben (pages 46-48), from Edinburgh, held their colourful ceremony at Lennoxlove House, East Lothian.
Pamela’s florist chose a vibrant mix of peonies, hydrangeas, spray roses and thistles for the bouquet which was complimented by the cake decorations, ceremony chairs and hanging floral displays. The fuchsias and purples used in the floral decorations matched perfectly with Ben’s traditional Scottish kilt.

Wedding Flowers hints and tips include using purple paper lanterns to hang from your venue ceiling or small paper lanterns hung on the backs of the ceremonial chairs. Fuchsia and purple jewellery and hair clips are sure to stand out from a pure white wedding dress and the groom should wear a rich purple tie to bring the colour scheme together. Pamela and Ben even bought their pet pug along to their reception wearing a purple collar that matched the kilt and bouquet!
