The real weddings section of February/March 2011 Wedding magazine features Jennifer and Mark’s ceremony and reception in Colorado, USA.
A marquee was set up in the bride’s family orchard. Although marquees make a great blank canvas they do require substantial decoration to avoid looking sparse.
Mark and Jennifer’s marquee had The Hanging Lantern Company’s coloured Chinese lanterns suspended from the ceiling to give an injection of colour.
The bride chose white even ribbed lanterns and ivory irregular ribbed lanterns to compliment her peach and white colour scheme.

Even ribbed pink paper lanterns have been hung around the wedding cake to create a unique setting for the cake.
Paper lanterns are well complimented by the coloured ribbons in various tones of the hanging lantern colour.
To re-create the scheme simply order pink paper lanterns and pick up some fuchsia ribbon to suspend them with.
