Leisure Centre Transformed using Paper Lanterns

A team of our professional installers transformed Whittlesey Leisure Centre from a plain and dull sports hall in to a glamorous wedding reception in 2 easy steps….. drapes and paper hanging lanterns!

The hall was given a makeover with ruched draping to create texture and style with a luxurious quality, whilst the ivory tone complements the pastel pink walls. The ceiling was drawn to a peak to replicate a marquee setting from which the pink and green paper lanterns were suspended, using our clear plastic crocodile clips, and positioned into the peak giving an airy feel. Gayle used paper round lanterns in ivory and pink with a handful of fuchsia scattered in to add contrast. Sage green paper lanterns were added to give an English Country Garden feel and bring the outdoors in! The odd large Lace lantern was dotted in to add the finer detail and continue the elegant country vibe and match the lace runners on each table.

Finish off this look with wild flowers set amongst plenty of green foliage to enhance the Secret Garden style and give a nod to the trends of the catwalks of London and Paris.
