Romantic Red Wedding Lanterns at a Kent Countryside Farm

Charlotte, a sheep farmer in Kent, visited our showroom and met with one of our wedding advisors to assist in planning her wedding decorations. 

With an enormous 30m marquee the bride to be had her heart set on our paper hanging lanterns to be the main feature of her wedding tent, providing maximum impact and colour, as her table layouts were going to very simplistic. 

Charlotte brought colour samples from her invitations to the consultation in order to match her wedding lanterns and flowers. With the main colour being a passionate and fiery red, the theme of the day was love and romance! The bride settled on combining red and mauve hanging lanterns, to add luxury to the overall look. 

Ivory round lanterns were added in to soften the bold statement colours whilst a handful of fuchsia paper lanterns were dotted in to add contrast. With the couple’s marquee being so vast they decided to combine 90 lanterns in 14” 16” 18” and 20” lanterns to try and fill as much space as possible to create a cosy ambience throughout the evening. 

The final touches to the marquee were the regal red swags lining the perimeter of the marquee to break up the white background, coloured table cloths were used to overlay the white linen, and finally little red and white hearts were scattered around the centre of each table to add to the romantic theme.
