Mandi contacted our wedding team just 3 months before her special day looking for advice and guidance on a suitable quantity of lanterns plus sensible sizes for her intimate 30x30ft ivory marquee.
The vision was a simple but sweet combination of coloured lanterns positioned down the central strip of the marquee where the roof is higher; by keeping the lanterns closer together the overall effect is much bouncier and busier.
The bride to be had chosen shades of pink as her wedding colours but wanted to add a rustic, relaxed feel to the decoration to reflect the scenery outside, so our lantern expert, Natalie, suggested the latte paper lanterns with a handful of Ivory ones dotted throughout to balance out the light and shade. The latte round lanterns helped to complement the hessian bunting, log slice centrepieces and natural chiavari chairs.
A total of just 35 lanterns were used to create this beautiful wedding display in a mixture of 12” 14” 16” and 18” diameters.
