London Fashion Week is a perfect opportunity to look at the trends and key features that can be replicated in our lantern styling. This season is all about metallic gold statement pieces or antique gold for a softer, more sophisticated look. This year is all about creativity, expressionism and breaking boundaries, being bold and daring to make that unique statement which your guests will never forget.
Gold tones have become heavily desired and suit an array of styles from modern/contemporary, art deco, shabby chic, vintage, Gatsby, boho and many more. The trick to changing the look actually comes down to the other colours and textures of lanterns that you team with the gold ones, for example, mix ivory, lace and antique gold for a vintage vibe, combine a bold regal colour such as teal or purple with the metallic or sparkly gold for more of a contemporary feel or why not alternate ivory, pale pink and both types of our gold paper lanterns to create an elegant, feminine glamour style.
