The 29th and 30th March saw the historic Goodwood motor circuit host the 72nd Members’ Meeting, a new event for the springtime.
An exciting invitation only weekend of high speed racing, classic and modern cars, and entertainment.
The grid for the event ranged from a Bugatti only race, to F1 cars of the 50s and 60s, to high speed action from more modern F1 and Le Mans cars. Practise laps took place on Saturday 29th and competitive races kept guests entertained all day Sunday.
Essentials Supplies worked closely with The Hanging Lantern Company and the designer for the entertainment marquees to bring their ideas to life and decorate the marquees in a unique, colourful way. The design brief led to hoops being created that were 6m in diameter with 21 lanterns suspended from the hoops in different sizes and colours at varying heights. Every soft pastel coloured paper hanging lantern was illuminated by a mains powered cord kit. All of our hanging lanterns are certified in the UK by a UKAS certified test house for BS60598 compliance (for use with mains powered luminaires).
The stylish but relaxed dress code was perfectly complemented by our muted palette of pastel paper lanterns and an evening of amazing fireworks enjoyed by all.
