The National Feast of Lanterns ran from 27-31 August 2015 at Houghton Hall near Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
Members of the caravanning and camping club celebrated the end of the camping year sat around their campfires with lanterns to light their meets – all sorts of lanterns and luminaries, including tea lights paper lanterns and fairy lights, were used to add illumination to the event throughout the weekend.
We were approached by East River PR to create a unique, striking lantern for SPAM to decorate the BBQ area at the NFOL. Everyone loves a BBQ so what better way to show off the sponsors name than providing illumination with our LED Buttonlites inside a personalised paper lantern. Our Sussex laser studio designed and created this geometric inspired dodecahedron branded with the SPAM name. The glow from our LED Buttonlite positioned inside creates the yellow lettering seen on the brand that gained notorious popularity after World War II.
Made from 275gsm blue and 275gsm gold stardream card, duplexed and lasercut in house.
SPAM branded our bespoke lantern “funky”!
