Contemporary Hanging Lanterns adorn West Reservoir Centre, Hackney

Teresa & Dave contacted The Hanging Lantern Company just 4 weeks before their wedding at The West Reservoir Centre, previously a pump station but now a sailing centre, which is one of the most popular venues we work with to install hanging coloured lanterns.

This couple, however, decided to install the lanterns themselves with an army of family and friends to help and what a fantastic display it was! Natalie talked them through step by step and these beautiful photos show just how achievable it really is for anyone and everyone to do, great news for the DIY bridal parties out there!

Both bright yellow and light yellow round lanterns, teamed with white and ivory ones as well, matched the spring daffodils on the tables and the bridal bouquets, whilst the navy blue dresses and table decorations added a bold contrast to mix light and shade. The groomsmen wore contemporary grey suits so a handful of dove grey paper lanterns were dotted in which complimented the industrial feel of the venue for a subtle touch.
