Mother of The Bride Hangs 90 Paper Lanterns

“We got a lot of great comments on how the whole room was decorated...The hanging lanterns being a big part of that. We had to put up 90 pink and white lanterns but it was worth it.  The gentle glow from the Buttonlites inside the coloured lanterns gave a great look. Liz’s daughter Nikki married Ben on the romantic island of Santorini in the Aegean Sea and planned a huge reception at The Stoke By Nayland Hotel in Essex.  Conveniently nestled in 300 acres of countryside the hotel was the perfect choice for a dream reception after a dream destination wedding inspired by the film Mamma Mia with Amanda Seyfried.

Nikki and Ben held their reception in Devora Suite of the hotel and left her Mum in charge of choosing the paper lanterns with the theme to be pinks. Liz and her team of merry helpers hung the round lanterns from the ceiling of the hotel room using clear sticky hooks and varying lengths of fishing line to achieve the random effect over the dance floor. LED Buttonlites were hung inside the small, medium and large lanterns to add to the glow provide by the large chandeliers.
