Abbas Marquees installed this country garden traditional pole tent for an elegant white wedding in May 2015. The bride wanted a classic, soft, romantic feel with a touch of relaxed elegance so the Abbas team decorated the marquee with white and ivory paper lanterns attached directly onto festoon lighting which offered a warm ambience and a touch of sparkle throughout the evening.

Traditional marquees are renowned for their extra height which although looks sleek and glamorous can feel a little vast inside so adding our hanging round lanterns in a variety of sizes can gently fill the space but in a light and unimposing way. Festoon lights offer a simplistic and understated solution to both lighting and aesthetics as well as giving you multiple points to suspend your lanterns from for a straight forward installation technique.

Place our paper lanterns directly onto the festoon lights, leaving some bulbs exposed for a modern, on-trend look, and tie others with fishing line from the lighting cords to add variety to the hanging heights of the lanterns.
