Essex Tipi Wedding with Paper Lanterns and Colin the Caterpillar

Steve and Georgina got married in an eye catching tipi at her family home in Essex, well technically they were legally wed in July, and in August they exchanged vows and rings in front of their family and friends, followed with a huge party in the tipis.

Georgina said “we are having a tipi wedding so using the coloured hanging lanterns to hang up over the festoon lights over where we will be eating. Really happy with them - the colours look great!”
From our inspirational hanging lantern website she select our most popular combination of sizes, 12“, 16” and 20” diameters, mixing pastel tones pink, robin egg, lavender and baby blue lanterns with an brightness from our fuchsia paper lanterns. Georgina and Steve hung 15 lanterns around the tipi all tied up with natural string to complement the overall feel of the day. In fact if you follow Georgina on Twitter or Instagram you’ll even see her Colin the Caterpillar wedding cakes!! Fabulous touch to bring the outside in we say!
