Our Cambridgeshire based installer, Gayle, used our neutral toned paper hanging lanterns to transform this striking Brocket Golf Club in Welwyn. Subtle, simple and stylish!

Gayle said “The venue is very unique with its large sloping roof, big glass windows creating a wall at one end, and the huge solid wooden beam structure throughout… however it seemed quite angular and vast so I wanted to soften the space and create a more intimate setting for a wedding.” 

Gayle used very soft, neutral tones to lighten the space but still complemented the rustic chalet style and combined small, medium and large paper lanterns in white, ivory and latte. The round lanterns were hung in a zig zag pattern so that the overall effect wasn’t too uniform like the beams; this really filled the space in between each beam and the ceiling space making it feel much cosier.
