"The service we received from The Hanging Lantern Company was excellent, I can't recommend them highly enough."
I found The Hanging Lantern Company through Google. When we were first planning the wedding I had seen some images of paper lanterns and loved them, I thought they were a beautiful and cost effective way to decorate any given space.
We chose the Cripps Stone Barn in the Cotswolds as our venue, and I knew the coloured hanging lanterns would look amazing against the stone and corrugated iron.
We didn't have a specific colour scheme, we wanted to include as many colours as possible to contrast with the neutral tableware and the stone.
I ordered a few hanging lanterns several months before the wedding to gage the size and colours that worked well together, and practiced hanging them from our beams at home.
We couldn't hang our bright round lanterns until the morning of the wedding, so with a team of helpers we arrived at the venue early. They were really easy to assemble. We had previously decided that hanging them at different lengths was exactly the look we were aiming for. We brought enough LED Buttonlites to hang inside each lantern so as it got dark the they glowed and looked even more fantastic. You just need to remember to turn them on before hanging! We were thrilled with the results, I had so many amazing compliments about our wedding lanterns, I spent a large portion of the day gazing at them! I have kept them all, and will be reusing them for my 30th birthday party next year.
